《饮酒•其五》
陶渊明
结庐在人境，而无车马喧。
问君何能尔？心远地自偏。
采菊东篱下，悠然见南山。
山气日夕佳，飞鸟相与还。
此中有真意，欲辨已忘言。

I dwell in my hut on the busy street,
Not feeling bothered by the clamor there.
Why can I make it a hermit’s retreat?
My seclusive mind finds peace everywhere.
By the east hedge wall, I’d pluck daisy flowers
And watch the southern hills afar at ease;
The hills appear lovely in sunset hours,
When birds fly together back to their trees.
I feel the truth of life in what I see;
I want to say it but words just fail me.

Among the haunts of men I built a cot,
Where any noise of cart and hoof I hear not.
You may wonder why this place is so nice,
A peaceful heart is real Shangri-la in my eyes.
By the eastern fence, I pick mums with pleasure,
Seeing the Southern Mount, I’m quite at leisure.
O, the air all around is so fresh day and night,
Flying back home, the birds nourish my sight.
Suddenly I realize what life means at this view,
But words fail me when I try to share with you.

Dwelling in a haunt of villagers,
I feel not earthly bothers.
You ask how I can be so?
To vanity, a secluded heart says no.
Picking mums by the hedges,
Carefree, I greet the mountains.
The sunset bathes in the fresh air;
The returning birds flap wings in pair.
Implied wisdom here may be,
However, alas, words fail me.
【作者简介】陶渊明（约365～427年），字元亮，晚年更名潜，字渊明。别号五柳先生，私谥靖节，世称靖节先生。浔阳柴桑（今江西九江）人。东晋末到刘宋初杰出的诗人、辞赋家、散文家。被誉为“隐逸诗人之宗”、“田园诗派之鼻祖”。是江西首位文学巨匠。
