Paying Attention

Attention, pay attention:
to some people, you pay attention every day,
and every day you contact them,
but in your life, they're just
the passers-by you have to encounter
and whom you can live without.
To others, you rarely pay attention,
and rarely contact them.
But in your life,
they occupy irreplaceable positions.
This kind of feeling, paying attention secretly,
is called "knowing you're fine, I won't disturb you".
At present, my eyes
are overspread with
all kinds of messages,
but I'd prefer to pay attention
to WeChat friends secretly.
I read hers, yours, and all the other messages.
Reading a message
is like reading a person,
from which you can read his and your own innermost,
which is the most sincere voice in your heart.
When you calm down,
reading a person's messages carefully,
you'll get to know him or her.
The circle of WeChat friends
is definitely a wonderful world,
where there're wonderful messages,
sweet music, beautiful pictures,
and many souls who accompany us every day
and whom we meet by accident.
I like paying attention to these messages,
from which I know whether there's wind or rain and how I live a life,
from which I can find a Shangri-La for my soul,
and even for a moment,
I can smooth out the mess,
and place it in order between the lines.
Quiet, I'm peaceful like leaves;
the wind blowing, I'm graceful like flowers;
with a plain heart,
living on the food of messages,
I sit alone and silently
on the road of writing,
continuing to feel warm and happy.
Maybe, paying attention, that of mine,
to some degree,
is the world of writing,
where I can let go of feelings and learn common senses.
I'm grateful to those who post messages in their circles of WeChat friends;
it's they who open the window
and let me see clearly
each side of the world.
