Ying'zi, Our Pride and Joy on the Culture Road
To Ying Deng-Klein, a Poetess Living in Germany
Written by Zi Tai(real name: Qiu Minghui)(Liaoning province, China)
Translated by Wei Hongxia (Anhui province, China)
The culture road extends from Chinese mainland to Germany
And then turns back from Germany to Chinese mainland
On the road, there's a throbbing pulse
A soul of yellow skin
On this road, there's a cultural celebrity, Ying Deng-Klein
Who is like a willow
Brushing the shore gently
Bringing beauty into this era
Culture is the flowing water passing by the willow
Blending the two civilizations into friendship
On this road, there's a poetess, Mao'mao
Wearing a pair of "Red Dance Shoes"
She dances a ballet in Berlin
In Germany
In the palace of the moon
And the kingdom of poetry
On this road, there's a poetess, Ying'zi
Whose poem "Turn Around, and You'll Meet Autumn"
Is just like a wild mum in full bloom
Which only grows in her hometown
With the smell of the black soil
Which is the tradition of the Chinese nation
Passing on the ancient poems
Her homesickness is like surging waves
Flowing from her heart to the Yellow river, and then to the sea
Her persistence in the poem "Glance Back, and You'll Be in Spring"
Is her eternal principle
Put our dreams in the cradle
And they'll grow wings one day
Soaring in the sky
On this road, there's a well-known social activist, Ying Deng-Klein
Who walks towards "The Distant Place"
Only to find nowhere to put her homesickness, but still
Looks for bosom friends
Her love, waiting painfully
"Turns Green into Autumn"
She only wishes to feel peace in life
And loves as long as she lives
So gentle is the willow's love
So lingering is your affection
When flowers bloom in the spring breeze
She "Won't Say Goodbye"
Life is the repetition of parting after reuniting
To love is to change from yellow to green
Love, and you'll outlast even heaven and earth
Kiss, and you'll kiss till the sun sets
To pick up your lost dreams, you
Spare no efforts to run after the drifting clouds, wandering
Thinking to yourself that "You Only Want to"
Return him the foremost satisfaction
And putting the seal of love
On the journey of life
