The drum beats sonorously
A song of "Camel Bell" is innumerable twists and turns
This is a parting Autumn
I will say goodbye to the time with no regrets
Another military salute under the army flag
Take another look at the familiar barracks
I'm leaving
When is the my return date
The guard tower in the distance
I'm leaving
Who will take my gun?
How can I forget the scene?
When I first entered the barracks
Under the scorching sun
We stood two hours in the military posture
Sweat drenched in our military uniform
Practice positive step is one day pasted
Our legs are too stiff to walk
The hard job of recruit training
Faded away all my youthfulness and effeminacy
Once I was sick
The monitor gave me water and medicine
I burst into tears with excitement
The monitor said
"It's fine if you can adapt to it. To be a soldier is to be able to do hard job."
Thanks to you monitor, thanks to the military camp
After training in the army
I have completed the transformation from the youthful to the mature
How much wind and rain and how many spring and autumn have pasted
I have been an old solider from a new one
From an old solider to a veteran?
The Green train of Army is crowing
The wheels rub against the rails and make a harsh sound
But it can't hide the melancholy of parting
I don’t want to let go of the hands I clenched tightly with my comrades
"Take care of yourself” we are hard to be separated
Saying "goodbye" I was choked with tears
Looking at the military camp going away
Looking at the comrades who keep waving goodbye
My heart is already broken
I am leaving
Just take away the empty body with me
Left everything to the barracks
My soul has already been engraved with "Faithful to the Country"
The boiling blood
Hit the man's heart
Standing silently looking at the barracks
The bugle calls, on training ground
Military flag, Military song and Military uniform...
The man who was in military uniform
Will never forget the barracks in his life
And will never forget I have been a soldier
MacArthur once said
"The veteran will not die, but will slowly wither"
I want to say
I am a veteran, we will not wither
Even if I will die, I must die on the battlefield to defend my home and my country
Although I have taken off my uniform
I am still thinking of the motherland and guarding the territory
Always bear the responsibility of defending our home and our country
Veterans are still soldiers
We have always been firm, brave and confident
We know
The so-called peace is only relative
The war would never stop
The violence would never stop either
The geopolitical landscape is changing
The foes of Hong Kong Independence and Taiwan Independence are not dead
Western powers are eyeing on our China
East China Sea and South China Sea are surging rough
waves.....
To realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation
To defend the country's territorial integrity
To achieve true peace
Only the strong national defence force
Can support our motherland standing among the world’s powers
Be beaten if we fall behind
And I'm a soldier
My mission is to defend my home and country
Once to the barracks
I will serve my country for life
We lift the sun above our heads
Keeping the motherland and people in our hearts
"Sacrifice one life of mine and make thousands of families happy"
As long as the motherland needs
57 million veterans
Will surely come forward and condense into majestic mountains
Build a new Great Wall with our bodies and blood
Casting the soul of the army in the new era with passion
We are always ready
As long as the motherland and the people need
"If there is a war, we will be back if recalled, and the battle will be victorious!"
We will defend every inch land of our country with our lives
We will use our blood to protect the safety of people's lives and property
We have to prove to our motherland
I am a soldier，I am a brave soldier
