Colourful Leaves
translated by Yin Xing Lin
There are colourful flowers
There are also colourful leaves
There are all kinds of flowers
There are also all kinds of leaves
However, the manifold colours and shapes of leaves
May be known to few people
The manifold colours and shapes of leaves I am talking about
Is not the yellow leaves of fall
Is not the red leaves of autumn
But is the colourful leaves of spring and summer
There is some yellow in green , some green in yellow
There is some red in green, some green in red
Sometimes, leaves look like flowers , strangely beautiful
Sometimes, leaves look like pictures, wonderfully pretty
Have you even seen the amazing charm of leaves?
Have you ever sighed the sentiment of leaves?
Colourful leaves, amazing leaves
Though not as charming as flowers
But with distinct excellence
