Wounded parting

Here is written the displaced past
Autumn of that year
We are here to promise each other silently
There is your shadow in the water
There is your smile on the shore
Your skirt is flying in the breeze
Willow bank frozen frame your beauty.
Do you remember that hug
Willow bowed his head shyly
The lake rippled slightly
Swallows no longer dance by the water
The fish stopped breathing.
Memories left here
Lingering
The promise made here
Can't forget
Willow branches still sing your tenderness
