1春晓
孟浩然
春眠不觉晓，处处闻啼鸟。
夜来风雨声，花落知多少。
Spring’s Sensation
Meng hao ran
The spring sleep did not wake me until dawning.
Everywhere I suddenly heard the birds singing.
After the night wind and rain happened.
I wondered how many flowers had fallen.
2静夜思
李白
床前明月光，疑是地上霜。
举头望明月，低头思故乡。
Yearning quietly at night
Li bai
Before my bed the moon was shining bright.
The ground like frost showed very white.
Raising my head, I looked at the bright moon.
Bending my head, I thought of my old home.
3回乡偶书
贺知章
少小离家老大回，乡音无改鬓毛衰。
儿童相见不相识，笑问客从何处来。
Returning to My Village
He zhi zhang
I left home at young and returned at old.
Speaking with the then accent but greying on the temples.
I did not know the children I met.
They asked where the guest came from with their smiles.
4泊船瓜洲
王安石
京口瓜洲一水间，钟山只隔数重山。
春风又绿江南岸，明月何时照我还？
Mooring at Guazhou Ferry Crossing
Wang an shi
Jingkou and Guazhou faced each other cross the River.
They were several mountains away from Zhong Mountain.
Again the South of the River was made green by spring breeze.
When would the bright moon shine for me to return?
5独坐敬亭山
李白
众鸟高飞尽，孤云独去闲。
相看两不厌，只有敬亭山。
Sitting Alone at Jingting Hill
Li bai
All dusk birds flew far and high.
And a cloud floated freely in the sky.
Who as I sat long here to face ?
Only Jingting Hill did the same.
6逢雪宿芙蓉山
刘长卿
日暮苍山远，天寒白屋贫。
柴门闻犬吠，风雪夜归人。
Staying at Furong Mountain in Snowing
Liu chang qing
The green mountains disappeared into the remote dusk.
The white hut showed poverty in the cold weather.
At the wicker gate there were heard the barks of a dog.
In the windy-snowy night back came a home-host.
7登鹳雀楼
王之涣
白日依山尽，黄河入海流。
欲穷千里目，更上一层楼。
Mounting the Yellow Crane Tower
Wang zhi huan
The sun was setting beyond the hills.
The Yellow River flowed into the sea.
I wanted to see as far as possible a vast expanse.
Again I climbed one more flight of stairs above me.

杜牧
远上寒山石径斜，白云生处有人家。
停车坐爱枫林晚, 霜叶红于二月花。
Travelling in The Mountain
Du mu
Walking up the long twisty stone-path into the autumn mountain.
The houses were found at the place where the clouds floated around.
I stopped my sedan and enjoyed the view of the maples at dusk.
The frosty leaves looked redder than February’s spring flowers.
9早发白帝城
李白
朝辞白帝彩云间，千里江陵一日还。
两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山。
Leaving Whiter Emperor Town at Dawn
Li bai
I left White Emperor Town in the rosy clouds of dawn.
It took me a day to reach Jiangling from a thousand miles apart.
While the monkeys were chattering continually on both the cliffs,
The light boat slipped past the serried mountains very fast.
10江雪
柳宗元
千山鸟飞绝，万径人踪灭。
孤舟蓑笠翁，独钓寒江雪。
Snowy River
Liu zong yuan
There was no trace of flying birds over any hill.
Nor was there trace of walking people on any road.
Only an old man in cape and hat of bamboo in a boat,
Who was fishing in a cold-snowy river all alone.
11宿建德江
孟浩然
移舟泊烟渚，日暮客愁新。
野旷天低树，江清月近人。
Lodging at Jiandejiang
Meng hao ran
Rowing the boat to moor at the misty islet.
At dusk I had some new worries as a guest.
On the vast field the sky seemed near the trees.
In the clear river the moon seemed close to me.
12黄鹤楼送孟浩然
李白
故人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。
孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。
Seeing Meng Haoran Off at Yellow Crane Tower
Li bai
My old friend said farewell at the west of Yellow Crane Tower.
He was going to Yangzhou in March of flourishing spring flowers.
That lonely sail with its far shadow faded into the azure sky.
All I saw was the Changjiang River flowing into the skyline.
13赠汪伦
李白
李白乘舟将欲行，忽闻岸上踏歌声。
桃花潭水深千尺，不及汪伦送我情。
A Poem for Wanglun In Return
Li bai
I was starting to be off by boat at the ferry crossing,
When I suddenly heard some singing and stamping from the shore.
How deep the water of The Peach Flower Pool was.
But it was not deeper than the feelings of Wanglun seeing me off.
