依彼平林，有集維鷮。

辰彼碩女，令德來教。

式燕且譽，好爾無射。

雖無旨酒？式飲庶幾。

雖無嘉肴？式食庶幾。

雖無德與女？式歌且舞？

陟彼高岡，析其柞薪。

析其柞薪，其葉湑兮。

鮮我覯爾，我心寫兮。

高山仰止，景行行止。

四牡騑騑，六轡如琴。

覯爾新婚，以慰我心。

Wheels are rolling with noisy cracks,

Fine lad is getting married.

No longer hungry with desire,

As tender beauty comes to the union.

Few friends at present though,

Celebration by ourselves suffices indeed.

Forests spread endlessly on the plain,

Golden pheasants rest on the trees. 

That gal, pretty and fit, 

With high virtue and well bred.

Such a merry gathering,

Lovely feeling lingers on and on.

Though lack of delicacies on table,

Still wish you a good appetite.

Though lack of status and beauties,

Why not come and dance still?

The high plateau we hike,

Woods are chopped for fuel.

Chopped for fuel,

The leaves are colorful all over.

Now I can meet you here, 

All the troubles are vanishing. 

Worshiping the lofty mountains, 

Admiring the magnificent scenery. 

Just ride on my splendid horses, 

And hold my rein in musical rhymes. 

Today is my wedding moment,

My heart is overwhelmed with happiness.
