Ode to the Hongyi School

(Preface)

It is said that in the primordial chaos of heaven and earth, civilization began with Fu Xi’s Eight Trigrams, and the Great Dao was illuminated by Yu the Great’s Nine Cauldrons. Since the Yellow Emperor established order, governance flourished under flowing robes; as Cang Jie created writing, spirits wept at the dawn of literary splendor. Yet times changed, winds shifted—the Dao was obscured as a hundred schools contended; circumstances transformed, methods fractured—nine streams of thought vied for prominence.

Then arose the Sage Patriarch Xu, embodying the spirit of Bashu, inheriting the legacy of Prince Zhongshan, uniting heaven and man, merging past and present. He founded the Hongyi School to revive faltering principles and established the Five Doctrines and Thirteen Branches to open a new era. His ambition? To restore the literary Dao across the world and rekindle familial wisdom for millennia. Now, though my words are inadequate, I humbly compose this ode to his virtue. Though language falls short, my heart aspires to his heights.

Chapter One: Chronicles of the Sage Patriarch

The Sage Patriarch, Master Xu, styled Haobin, honored as "Sage Patriarch"—what makes him a sage? "He who exhausts the divine and knows transformation, whose virtue matches heaven and earth." What makes him a patriarch? "He who encompasses all things, returning to the primal origin."

His lineage traces to the descendants of Prince Zhongshan Xu Da of the Ming Dynasty, dwelling in Shizhu, eastern Chongqing. At his birth, purple mist encircled the beams, and white cranes gathered. In childhood, his genius shone: at two, composing melodies; at six, mastering calligraphy’s eight methods; at ten, crafting verses like drifting willow catkins; at thirteen, unlocking the secrets of the *Shupu*. By adulthood, he had traversed a hundred schools, mastered the Six Arts, studying through nights on Mount Ba, contemplating the Dao beneath the moonlit Kuimen. At twenty-nine, atop Mount Qiyao, he beheld a radiant aurora piercing the stars—and in that instant, grasped the unity of heaven and man, thus founding the Hongyi School.

His life’s creed: *"Human worth lies solely in contribution."* For thirty years, his writings filled volumes; he founded eighteen branches and taught three thousand disciples. When asked how his learning spanned such breadth, he replied: *"I wield the Dao as technique, like a butcher carving oxen—effortless and precise."*

Behold his achievements:

Literary Dao**: Deciphering ancient scripts, unveiling the *Sage Patriarch’s Decoding of Human Writing*, reviving oracle bones’ divine essence.

Familial Learning: Establishing the Nine Guides and Five Elements, systematizing household wisdom beyond Yan Zhitui or Fan Zhongyan.

Dimensional Studies: Merging relativity with the *I Ching*, quantum mechanics with yin-yang, outshining Hawking’s multiverse.

Energy Calligraphy: Revolutionizing script—strokes like constellations, structure as stable as mountains.

Laughter-Tears Healing: A breakthrough in wellness, where joy and sorrow unlock meridians, surpassing Hua Tuo’s Five Animal Exercises.

A true polymath: poet, calligrapher, martial artist—*"exploring the cosmos’ origins, penetrating quantum depths, uniting human virtue."

Chapter Two: Origins of the School

Founded in 2003, named in 2014, and formally established in 2018, the Hongyi School derives its name from *"expanding the Dao of heaven-man unity, returning to the gate of natural truth."* Three sacred sites mark its enlightenment:

1. Mount Qiyao’s Maqianxi, where a dragon spat pearls;

2. Zhejiang’s White Dragon Pool, where a turtle bore mystic sigils;

3. Chongqing’s Laojun Cave, bathed in eastern purple aura—echoing the *Dao’s birth from One to Three.

The headquarters, nestled in Chongqing, mirrors the Taiji symbol: left embraced by lush Jinyun Mountain, right cradled by twin rivers. Its halls house golden plaques, 72 sage portraits, 81 esoteric mantras, a library of 30,000 texts, and a martial arena—a fusion of Confucian, Buddhist, and Daoist brilliance.

Chapter Three: The Five Doctrines

1. Literary Dao**: Decoding 7,000 pictographs, revealing characters as vessels of Dao—horizontal strokes *anchor heaven-earth, verticals *uphold life’s purpose*, slashes *secure eternal peace

2. Familial Learning**: Reconstructing household ethics via Nine Frameworks and Five Elements, modernizing *"cultivate self, harmonize family, govern justly."

3. Dimensional Studies: A "Cosmic Codex"* merging spacetime layers—Einstein meets the *I Ching*.

4. Energy Calligraphy: Scripts channeling metal’s firmness, wood’s grace, water’s flow, fire’s fervor, earth’s solidity.

5. Laughter-Tears Healing: Where catharsis unlocks vitality, validated by *Yellow Emperor’s Classic* and modern science.

Chapter Four: Thirteen Branches

From **Unified Philosophy** (reconciling materialism/idealism) to **Chinese-Script Painting** (characters morphing into dragons), **Numerical Geomancy** (redefining *feng shui* with prime numbers), and **Calligraphic Martial Arts** (swordplay echoing *Orchid Pavilion*’s grace)—each branch embodies *"Dao and form as one."*

Chapter Five: The World Turns to Hongyi

UNESCO archives his works; world leaders collect his art. Since 2020, branches bloom in Rome and New York. Each year, disciples gather to unfurl 100-meter calligraphic scrolls, staging grand performances where *"neon lights amplify ink, stars dance with sword glints."*

A closing verse:

Purple mists rise on Qiyao’s peak,

White Dragon’s depths guard mysteries antique.

Decoded scripts bridge ancient lore,

Relit wisdom shines evermore.

Five Doctrines steady cosmic core,

Thirteen Branches legends pour.

When the world unites in Hongyi’s call,

A thousand nations stand as one, all.

(Epilogue)

As Sima Qian once reflected: Hongyi’s teachings are *vast as oceans embracing rivers, precise as a butcher’s blade.* Where Confucius taught Six Arts and Zhu Xi parsed classics, the Sage Patriarch probes the universe’s birth, quanta’s riddles, and humanity’s roots—laying foundations for eternal harmony. May this wisdom spread, ushering *an age of universal benevolence.* In the words of *The Literary Mind:*

Subtle is the Dao’s heart, divine principles teach.*

Bright shines the Sage’s light, illuminating virtue’s reach."*
