此次展览既是对中华优秀传统文化的传承与致敬，亦是新时代艺术家用笔墨言说时代、传递力量的集中呈现，邀您共赏墨彩华章，感受传统艺术在当代的蓬勃生命力。

1974年生于江苏南通如东县，意象表现主义油画家，中国水墨师承徐悲鸿弟子徐善华老师，中国一级美术师、中国美术家协会会员，黄海画派创始人、游画中国发起人，毕业于南京艺术学院油画系，后进修清华大学美术学院、鲁迅美术学院油画专业。先后任教于郑州美术学院等艺术高校，现中央美术学院客座教授，兼任古枫文化艺术院院长；创办南北美术教育联盟、国祥画室及美术培训基地；出版几十本美术教材（如《杨国祥素描头像》），多次获全国美术赛事奖项（含中国美术作品示范画大赛金奖）。融合西方立体主义、超现实手法与中国水墨、装饰元素，擅长人物肖像与风景写生；代表作有《海妹子》系列、《渔民》系列、《海防团》《光华轮》《红色凤凰》《中条山战役》等；作品被国内外机构与私人收藏，2018年在南通发起“游画中国”系列展览活动 。

Born in Rudong County, Nantong, Jiangsu Province in 1974, he is an Imagist Expressionist oil painter. He studied Chinese ink painting under the tutelage of Mr. Xu Shanhua, a disciple of Xu Beihong. He holds the titles of National First-Class Artist and Member of the China Artists Association, and is the founder of the Huanghai School of Painting and the initiator of the "Painting Across China" initiative.

He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Nanjing University of the Arts, and later pursued further studies in the Oil Painting major at Tsinghua University Academy of Arts & Design and Luxun Academy of Fine Arts. He has taught at art colleges and universities including Zhengzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and currently serves as a Visiting Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts as well as the Dean of Gufeng Culture and Art Academy. He founded the North-South Art Education Alliance, Guoxiang Studio and related art training bases, and has published dozens of art textbooks such as Yang Guoxiang's Sketch of Portraits. He has won numerous awards in national art competitions, including the Gold Award at the National Fine Arts Demonstration Painting Competition.

Integrating Western Cubism, Surrealist techniques with Chinese ink painting and decorative elements, he excels in portrait painting and landscape sketching. His representative works include the Haimeizi series, the Fishermen series, Coastal Defense Regiment, Guanghua Wheel, Red Phoenix and Battle of Zhongtiao Mountain. His works have been collected by domestic and foreign institutions and private collectors. In 2018, he launched the "Painting Across China" series of exhibitions in Nantong.
