独孤食肉兽
谁自吹襟立杳溟。
舵尾迥拖千里雪，
桅尖静划一江星。
船灯对语不知意，
山影暗随如有灵。
为续夜航群动黠，
抟禽一鹘掠前汀。

In cabin snores roar loud like thunder’s boom;
Who stands with flapping robe in misty loom?
Behind the ship white waves stretch miles of trail;
The mast tip cuts the stars o’er river veil.
Ship lamps blink at each other in soft gloom;
Hill shades creep on like spirits’ hidden bloom.
With our night travel, all living things sail;
A falcon wheels and skims the front isle pale.
独孤食肉兽，本名“曾峥”，生于武昌，武汉大学毕业。力倡并践行“现代城市诗词”，著有《格律摇滚Y2K》《独孤食肉兽诗词编年集》（载《21世纪新锐吟家诗词编年（第二辑）》等。
Solitary Carnivore, original name Zeng Zheng, born in Wuchang, graduated from Wuhan University, an advocator and practitioner of “Modern Urban Poetry”. His publications include Rhythmical Rock Y2K, and Chronology of Solitary Carnivore’s Poems [included in A Chronicle of New Edge Poets in the 21st Century (Volume 2)].

李小丽，陕西咸阳市长武县人，祖籍河南。中原科技学院英语教师；副教授，英语语言文学专业翻译方向，本专科通过自学考试毕业于南京师范大学，硕士研究生毕业于河南师范大学，研究方向为英语教学及翻译。发表论文12篇，出版15万字英译汉译著《未来领导》一部。 Biosketch of the Translator LI Xiaoli, a native of Changwu County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, whose ancestral home is in Henan Province. She is an associate professor at Zhongyuan Institute of Science and Technology, whose major is English Language and Literature with the translation direction. Through self-taught examination she graduated from Nanjing Normal University as a junior college student and an undergraduate, and later she got her master’s degree in Henan Normal University. With the research direction of English teaching and translation, she has published 12 papers and an English-Chinese translation work with 150,000 words, titled How to Future.
