当暮色漫过尘世的褶皱
一缕佛光，漫开岁月的向往
当长夜淹没前路的迷茫
万般过往，卸去无奈和忧伤
你我浮沉于人间烟火万象
风尘辗转，终奔赴心之所向
跨过暗夜，寻找另一个自己
方得温柔相守，朝夕共诉衷肠
众生渺小，心却澄澈不染尘霜
身形柔弱，胸怀恰似沧海坦荡
耳畔漫起红尘中最柔软的梵唱
风月之外，我为你推开一方晴窗
何必沉陷往事，困于过往
又何必执念沉郁，叹世事无常
掌心相握，心自明朗
携一寸暖意，如揽一轮暖阳

Buddha's Light

When twilight creeps o'er the folds of mortal world,
A wisp of Buddha's light unfolds the yearning of years.
When endless night drowns the confusion of the way ahead,
All past sorrows fade, unburdened of grief and tears.
We drift and wander amid the mortal hustle and haze,
Worn by mortal journeys, bound for the calling of our hearts.
Through dark nights we stride, to find our inner true selves,
Then dwell in gentle peace, baring our souls day and dark.
Frail are all living beings, yet their hearts stay pure and clear;
Weak the mortal frame, yet minds stretch wide as ocean mere.
Soft Buddhist chants linger low in the mortal hustle and din,
Beyond wind and moon, I open a bright window for thee within.
Why sink into old tales, trapped by bygone days?
Why cling to melancholy, lamenting life's uncertain ways?
Hands held fast as one, the soul shall shine and see,
Bear a wisp of warmth, embracing a sun of serenity.

Xue Fei (Ouyang Xinxian) is a writer, poet and calligrapher. He is a member of the Chinese Natural Resources Writers Association and Henan Writers Association.
He serves as Executive Editor-in-Chief of Crane Singing Literature, sponsored by the North American University Alliance, and an editor of the poetry journals Northern Poetry and Lata Lake Literature.
