Can Robots Serve Better Than Humans?
Author: Su Dehong
Some people say to me,
Robots can pour tea,
Can share your heart with thee.
Some people say to me,
Robots can wash clothes,
Can care for you in true repose.
O Chang'e, O Chang'e,
No matter how well robots serve,
Can they match a living human’s reserve?
O Bodhidharma, O Bodhidharma,
No matter how well robots serve,
Can they match a living human’s reserve?

English Recommendation
This poem adopts simple and plain language with repetitive and rhythmic verses. Starting from daily life scenes, it employs the cultural symbols of Chang'e and Bodhidharma to raise soul-searching questions. It reflects profound human thinking in the artificial intelligence era: robots can copy labor and words, yet they can never replicate human sincerity, warmth and empathy. With folk aesthetic charm, philosophical reflection and profound humanistic feelings, this work possesses the lofty conception and spiritual realm worthy of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
