At this highly anticipated international art gala, outstanding contemporary Chinese artist Chen Ken made a brilliant debut with his landmark artworks. 陈垦先生出生于 1983 年，现居中国北京、成都，深耕绘画、装置、综合材料艺术等多元创作领域，拥有扎实深厚、跨界融合的专业艺术积淀。 2005 年毕业于西南交通大学艺术与传播学院艺术设计系，2007 年中央美术学院建筑学院环艺与照明研究生班毕业，系统完备的艺术教育经历，为他搭建了横跨设计、空间、纯艺术的开阔创作视野，也让他的作品兼具学院派的严谨功底、自由奔放的先锋表达与媒介的多元张力。多年来，他始终坚持在艺术之路上不断探索、突破边界，作品风格浓烈奔放、笔触富有极致的情绪冲击力，色彩热烈饱满、构图自由肆意，在抽象与具象之间、传统与当代之间，构建出独属于自己的精神艺术世界。

Born in 1983, Mr. Chen Ken currently resides in Beijing and Chengdu, China. He devotes himself to diverse creative fields including painting, installation art and mixed-media art, boasting solid professional attainments and interdisciplinary artistic insights.

He graduated from the Department of Art & Design, School of Art and Communication, Southwest Jiaotong University in 2005, and completed his postgraduate studies in Environmental Art and Lighting Design at the School of Architecture, Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. His comprehensive academic training has forged his broad creative vision spanning design, spatial art and fine art. His works integrate the rigorous craftsmanship of academic art, unrestrained avant-garde expression and the diverse expressive power of varied media.

For years, he has kept exploring and breaking boundaries in art. Characterized by bold and unrestrained styles, his brushwork delivers intense emotional impact, while his works feature rich, vibrant colors and free, unconstrained compositions. Blending abstraction with figuration, tradition with contemporaneity, he has built a unique artistic realm imbued with his inner spirit.

From campus graduation exhibitions to urban youth art group exhibitions, Chen Ken’s creations have continuously gained industry recognition and professional acclaim along the way. He has participated in the 2005 Southwest Jiaotong University Graduation Exhibition, the 2007 Central Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture Graduation Exhibition, and the 2016 Chengdu Youth Art Group Exhibition. Each exhibition marks the iteration and growth of his artistic self, and embodies his in-depth thinking on art, nature, life and the times. With long-term perseverance and dedication, he has finally stepped onto the supreme palace of global art at the Venice Biennale, making the creative voice of contemporary young Chinese artists heard, seen and understood by the whole world.
