岁月山海相隔，心脉相连；岁月流金，情谊绵长。当时间的指针指向中泰建交 50 周年这一重要节点，“天涯比邻，山海有情” 中泰国际艺术展暨学术访问交流活动如期而至，为两国深厚情谊续写新的篇章。

When the pointer of time points to the important milestone of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, the China Thailand International Art Exhibition and Academic Visit Exchange Event, titled "Boundaries Across the Sea, Emotions Across the Mountains and Seas," has arrived as scheduled, continuing to write a new chapter in the deep friendship between the two countries.

当科学遇上艺术，当东方遇上东南亚，一场跨越山海的艺术对话正在泰国展开。近日，“天涯比邻，山海有情”中泰国际艺术展暨学术访问交流活动在泰国清迈盛大启幕，中国波画创始人、清华大学右脑科学与艺术研究专家李兆顺教授受邀参展，并被泰方高校荣聘为博士生导师，成为本次中泰文化交流中最受关注的亮点。

When science meets art, when the East meets Southeast Asia, an artistic dialogue spanning mountains and seas is unfolding in Thailand. Recently, the China Thailand International Art Exhibition and Academic Visit Exchange Event, titled "Boundaries of the World, Emotions of the Mountains and Seas," grandly kicked off in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Professor Li Zhaoshun, founder of Chinese wave painting and expert in right brain science and art research at Tsinghua University, was invited to participate and was honored as a doctoral supervisor by Thai universities, becoming the most eye-catching highlight of this cultural exchange between China and Thailand.

作为艺术界少有的跨界创新者，李兆顺身上的头衔本身就是一段传奇：清华大学右脑科学与艺术研究专家、国家一级美术师、哈佛艺术学院客座教授、钱学森智库脑科学艺术家、英国皇家艺术研究院荣誉院士……从1992年开始，李兆顺就踏上了将色彩心理学、脑科学与传统绘画融合的探索之路，得恩师吴冠中先生点拨后，更是融中西技法于一体，结合自己开发右脑的科研成果，独创出兼具审美价值与实用功能的右脑潜能激发波画，也就是如今享誉国内外的“兆顺波画”，吴冠中先生亲笔为他题词：“王维是文人画的首创者，兆顺是自然科学画的开拓者”，一语道破他在艺术史上的开创性地位。

As one of the few cross disciplinary innovators in the art world, Li Zhaoshun's title itself is a legend: Expert in Right Brain Science and Art Research at Tsinghua University, National First Class Artist, Visiting Professor at Harvard Art School, Brain Science Artist at Qian Xuesen Think Tank, Honorary Fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts in the UK... Since 1992, Li Zhaoshun has embarked on the exploration of integrating color psychology, neuroscience, and traditional painting. With the guidance of his mentor Mr. Wu Guanzhong, he has integrated Chinese and Western techniques, combined his own research achievements in developing the right brain, and created a unique right brain potential inspired wave painting that combines aesthetic value and practical function. This is now known as "Zhaoshun Wave Painting", which is renowned both domestically and internationally. Mr. Wu Guanzhong personally created it. Inscription for him: "Wang Wei is the pioneer of literati painting, and Zhao Shun is the pioneer of natural science painting, One sentence reveals his pioneering position in art history.

四十余年钻研，李兆顺的波画不仅斩获了海峡两岸书画大赛金奖、世界文艺终身成就金奖等多项大奖，更拿到了两项国家专利，先后获得第六届国家科技发明奖一等奖、国家科技创新奖一等奖。他的作品《荷塘月夜》被清华大学赠予比尔·盖茨收藏，50幅波画亮相2016年里约奥运会为运动员减压助眠，作品登上飞天茅台包装，更入选荣宝斋《大红袍》画集，成为公认的中国当代艺术大师。如今全国已经建成七家李兆顺波画艺术馆，从华山之巅到西湖之畔，从北戴河海滨到北京城中，越来越多人通过波画感受科学与艺术融合的独特魅力。

After more than 40 years of research, Li Zhaoshun's wave paintings have not only won multiple awards such as the Gold Award in the Cross Strait Calligraphy and Painting Competition and the World Lifetime Achievement Gold Award in Literature and Art, but also obtained two national patents. They have successively won the first prize of the 6th National Science and Technology Invention Award and the first prize of the National Science and Technology Innovation Award. His work 'Moonlit Night in the Lotus Pond' was donated to Bill Gates' collection by Tsinghua University. 50 wave paintings appeared at the 2016 Rio Olympics to relieve stress and help athletes sleep. The work was packaged in Feitian Maotai and was selected for the Rongbaozhai 'Big Red Robe' art collection, becoming a recognized contemporary Chinese art master. Nowadays, seven Li Zhaoshun Wave Painting Art Museums have been built across the country. From the top of Mount Hua to the banks of West Lake, from the Beidaihe seaside to the city center of Beijing, more and more people are experiencing the unique charm of the integration of science and art through wave painting.

Unlike traditional painting that only pursues aesthetic expression, Li Zhaoshun's wave paintings conceal a "color healing code": in response to the impact of different color wavelengths on the human body, he has developed multiple functional series - the green series helps teenagers activate the right brain, relieve learning pressure, and improve attention, the blue series helps soothe emotions and improve sleep, and the distant series is recognized by ophthalmologists as having a positive effect on preventing myopia. This innovative exploration of "making art useful" has enabled Zhao Shunbo painting to leave art museums and enter campuses and hospitals, becoming a unique cultural carrier that serves the physical and mental health of the public, and has also attracted high attention from the international art and education community.

The China Thailand International Art Exhibition, titled 'Boundaries of the World, Affection between Mountains and Seas', is an important cultural exchange event under the framework of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. Its aim is to use art as a link to bring the two peoples closer and deepen the traditional friendship of' China Thailand One Family '. On the day of the launch, Li Zhaoshun's wave paintings attracted a large number of Thai art professionals, university teachers and students, and local residents to stop and watch as soon as they made their debut. The flowing ripple texture, harmonious color matching, and hidden scientific ingenuity have made many visitors exclaim as "magical" - after stopping in front of the green wave painting for a moment, many people express a sense of emotional relaxation and are curious about this Chinese art that can "affect the body and mind".
