长安回首几秋冬，
烟海茫茫寄旅踪。
一片汉宫霜月冷，
千年秦岭雾岚浓。
别难忍见灞桥柳，
夜永愁听雁塔钟。
最是风轻云淡处，
峰巅谷底两从容。

I gaze back at Chang’an through years that glide;
My roaming track floats on the misty tide.
O'er the Han palace the moon casts chill light;
Mt. Qin's long been veiled in fog at its height.
I wouldn’t bid the Ba Bridge willow farewell;
My heart grieves for the Pagoda’s night bell.
Where soft breezes blow and clouds drift on high,
My heart finds peace, vales or dales, far or nigh.
