Jia Wei was born in Beijing, with ancestral roots in Shandong. He currently resides in Chongqing, Zhuhai, Weihai, and Handan. He is a member of the China Artists Association, the Hebei Branch of the China Artists Association, the China Industrial Design Association, an elite member of the China Sketching Society, the Vice President of the Handan Oil Painting Association in Hebei Province, a first-class craft artist in Hebei Province, a national first-class artist, and a member of the French Artists Association.
