Bai Yun’s oil paintings combine historical cultural heritage with surreal imagination, establishing a unique style of Eastern Futuristic Surrealism. Using flat color blocks as the core visual language, her works embody abstract appeal and the mysterious charm of ancient murals.

She minimizes facial depictions of figures, conveying narratives and emotions through group figures, body postures and rich layered hues, while artistic blank spaces exude poetic grace. Drawing inspiration from poetry, dramas, supernatural tales and dreams, her creations transcend the limits of time and space to build an illusory cyber realm where reality and fantasy intertwine. 白云（本名白莹），1968年生于四川成都，系四川美术学院著名花鸟画家白澄之女。先后于1988年、1990年毕业于四川美术学院附中及四川美术学院，现为四川省美术家协会会员、职业画家。

其作品曾在中国、美国、德国、意大利、奥地利等地举办个展与联展，并于2006年荣获第二届中国书画收藏双年展优秀奖。2013年，赴德国波恩阿拉斯诺艺术学院访学。作品多次被重要机构与私人收藏，并发表于多种刊物，2018年出版个人专刊《中华画家》。目前致力于传统绘画与当代艺术的融合研究。
