Deng Zhengxin—Oriental Aesthetics, Global Resonance: Exemplary Figure in Cultural Globalization

Deng Zhengxin was influenced by his father's generation and developed a profound passion for calligraphy and painting since childhood. In 1982, when he attended the Sichuan Provincial Electronic Industry Fine Arts Training Class, he received guidance from Teacher Bai Shan from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and Teacher Dou Yizhao from the Tianjin Academy of Arts and Crafts.

Even after retirement, he never stopped practicing calligraphy and painting, and he is fond of landscape, flower-and-bird, and figure paintings. His works have won numerous awards:

Selected Award in the National Ethnic Unity and Progress Competition;

Excellence Award in the National Forestry Calligraphy and Painting Competition;

First Prize in the Chengdu Senior Citizens Art Festival;

Gold Award in the "Ode to Harmony" and "Wohao Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competitions;

Gold Award in the "Years Like Songs" National Contemporary Senior Calligraphy and Painting Art Solicitation;

First Prize in the 3rd "Chinese Celebrities" National Calligraphy, Painting and Fine Arts Works Competition;

Excellence Award in the 2nd Huawei Cup Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition themed "Harmonious China: New Century, New Countryside";

He once served as Vice President of the Calligraphy and Painting Association for the Elderly of Sichuan Provincial Organs, and Vice President of Dadi Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Sichuan Provincial Direct Organs.

邓正心，受父辈熏陶,自幼酷爱书画,1982年参加四川省电子工业美术学习班时，曾受教于中央工艺美术学院白山老师、天津工艺美术学院窦以昭老师。退休后仍笔耕不缀,喜山水、花鸟、人物。作品在全国民族团结进步大赛中获入选奖；在全国林业书画大赛中获优秀奖；在成都市老年艺术节上获一等奖；在"和谐颂""沃豪杯"全国书画大赛中获金奖；在"岁月如歌"全国当代老年书画艺术征稿中获金奖；在第三届"中华名人"全国书画美术作品大赛中获一等奖；在和谐的中国新世纪、新农村,第二届华威杯书画大展中获优秀奖；在赣粤高速杯"纪念建军八十周年,秋收起义八十周年。井岗山革命根据地创建八十周年全国书画展中获优秀奖；在第三届"淅商杯"春风大雅苏东坡全国书画展中获特等奖；在庆祝中国共产党成立100周年辉煌中国赞歌，声声献给党的全国书画名家作品大展中荣获金奖；在隆重庆祝中国共产党成立一百周年举办的世纪百年大型书画展中获金奖，曾为四川省省级机关老年书画协会副会长,省直机关大地书画院副院长。
