Qin Changbao, born in Shanghai in April 1955, is renowned in the painting and calligraphy circle under the art moniker "Bamboo Master of Shanghai". A pioneering figure of Chinese colorful bamboo painting, he also stands as a trailblazer and outstanding representative in Chinese painting and calligraphy, hailed as an eminent people’s painter-calligrapher.

Remaining true to his original aspiration throughout his artistic journey, Qin Changbao keeps exploring and innovating unceasingly. He founded the distinctive artistic brand Integrity of Colorful Bamboos under the banner of Painting & Calligraphy China, acting as an avid disseminator of thematic series integrating poetry, painting and calligraphy centered on China’s bamboo culture. Endowed with profound cultural heritage and unique artistic allure, his works take bamboo as the medium to convey the noble integrity and humanistic spirit of the Chinese nation.

As early as 2002, Qin Changbao demonstrated extraordinary artistic creativity and forward-thinking vision by staging the inaugural thematic exhibition of "Poetry, Painting and Calligraphy of Chinese Bamboo Culture". Like a brilliant star, this exhibition garnered widespread attention and acclaim across the art community, infusing fresh vitality into the inheritance and development of China’s bamboo culture.

In 2015, Qin Changbao scaled new artistic heights once more by launching a serial thematic project under the brand Integrity of Colorful Bamboos of Painting & Calligraphy China. Thanks to his persistent endeavours, his titles "Founder of Chinese Colorful Bamboo Painting" and the brand "Integrity of Colorful Bamboos" have gained widespread recognition, generating a powerful personal brand influence.
