Ren Huxing—Oriental Aesthetics, Global Resonance: Exemplary Figure in Cultural Globalization


Ren Huxing, male, Han ethnicity, courtesy name Guyue, art courtesy name Moyuan Jushi (Householder Bonded with Ink). He was born on April 15, 1956, in Group 1, Xinying Village, Pingdeng Township, Yichuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. He practiced martial arts and calligraphy from an early age, absorbing the strengths of various masters. After over fifty years of dedicated practice, he has formed a unique personal artistic style.

His calligraphic works have won numerous international and domestic awards, and are collected by museums and calligraphy communities across many countries including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Singapore and Thailand. CCTV has produced a special feature report on his calligraphy creations.

He currently holds the following positions: Honorary Chairman of the Ethnic Culture Promotion Committee under the United Nations Chinese Association, Master Calligrapher, Master of Contemporary Chinese Art, Distinguished Art Master, Honorary Dean of the Hebei Branch of China Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and Extraordinary Calligraphy Artist of Rare Talent.
