风卸下梅雨的湿软

撞进七月滚烫的胸膛

阳光铺成无边的金箔

覆在河塘、街巷与田埂之上

荷撑开层层青盖

托举一簇簇灼白的花香

蝉鸣从清晨缠至暮色

是盛夏永不停歇的诗行

晚风携着草木清香

漫过晒得温热的院墙

星光慢慢爬上深蓝天幕

消解白日所有燥热匆忙

人间藏着温柔的烟火

西瓜淌蜜、清茶微凉

七月不只有艳阳灼人

亦有晚风与星光岁々绵长

July on Earth

The wind sheds the damp softness of plum rains, crashing into July’s blazing chest.

Sunlight spreads into boundless gold foil, covering ponds, lanes and farm ridges.

Lotus unfurls layers of green canopies, holding clusters of blushing blossoms sweet.

Cicada songs linger from dawn till dusk, an endless ode written by midsummer heat.

Night breezes carry the faint scent of plants, drifting over sun-warmed courtyard walls.

Stars climb slowly up the deep blue sky, melting all the swelter and rush of the day.

Gentle mortal warmth hides in ordinary life: juicy watermelon, cool clear tea.

July bears not only scorching sunshine, but evening winds and starlight, endless year after year.
