湾城晚静水云平，海岸炊烟带月生。
远岭隔舟流旧事，帆扬已过半途程。
Evening Voyage
The bay-town stills—clouds rest on the tide,
Smoke from shore-homes rises where moonlight hides.
Distant hills, beyond the boat, drift tales of years gone by,
The sail is raised—already half the journey’s passed the sky.
Promenade du soir
La ville au bord de l’eau s’apaise sous le ciel,
La fumée des foyers monte avec le miel de la lune.
Au loin, les monts, par-delà la barque, emportent les récits du temps,
La voile est levée — déjà la moitié du chemin fuit sous le vent.
Paseo nocturno
La calma en la bahía—nubes sobre el mar,
Humo de casas surge, luna al despertar.
Montes lejanos, tras la barca, cuentan lo que fue,
La vela izada—mitad del viaje ya cruzó el través.
Вечерний выход в море
Залив затих — облачный лёг покров,
Дым от домов встал, где свет от луны таков.
За лодкой холмы уносят былые года,
Поднят парус — и пройдена половина пути сквозь года.
رحلة العَشِيّ
سَكَنَ الخَلِيجُ، وَسَطَحَ الغَيْمُ عَلَى المَدِّ،
وَدُخَانُ الشَّطِّ يَرْتَقِي حَيْثُ الضِّيَاءُ يَنْدُّ
مِنَ البَدْرِ. وَالتِّلالُ، وَرَاءَ الزَّوْرَقِ، تَسْرُبُ أَحَادِيثَ الزَّمَنْ،
قَدْ نُصِبَ الشِّرَاعُ — فَنِصْفُ الطَّرِيقِ قَدْ جَاوَزَ السَّمَاكَ وَسَكَنَ الفَلَكْ.

Author's Bio: Lu Yingjie, pen name Mowanke, holds a Ph.D. in the US and is a tenured full professor. His poems and translations have been published in numerous electronic and print journals, poetry anthologies, Kuaishou's Excellence Within Poetry, Dongzhensong's video channel, the CCTV “Aihua” Spring Festival Gala, and the People's Daily (Overseas Edition), among others.
