Lo, how sublime each hill afar shows!
Over the bridge, village maids laughing hie;
Following them, a flock of birds fly.
On high beyond clouds, spreads out spring hue;
The sun's reached treetops with light anew.
My camera clicking, I spare no pains
To take Nature's scenes—all it contains.

The stream meanders, calm and slow,
Each distant peak stands in a row.
A village lass, with laughter light,
Crosses the bridge, with birds in flight.
Spring's color stretches past the sky,
The sun now gilds the treetops high.
My camera clicks without a rest
To capture all of Nature's best.
Note: Bama, a Yao Autonomous County, situated in the northwest of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, is well known as the “Land of Longevity.”

星汉，姓王，字浩之，1947年生，山东省东阿县人。新疆师范大学文学院教授。中华诗词学会发起人之一，新疆诗词学会创建者之一。公开出版有《清代西域诗研究》等20余种。
Galaxy, whose real name is WANG Haozhi, born in 1947, in Dong’e County, Shandong Province, is a professor of College of Literature at Xinjiang Normal University. He was an initiator of the Chinese Poetry Society, and was one of the founders of Xinjiang Poetry Society. He published more than 20 books including Studies on Western Regions Poetry of the Qing Dynasty.（吕文澎 译）

Biosketch of the Translator
LYU Wenpeng, a native of Tianshui, Gansu Province; Associate Professor of English and MA Supervisor at Northwest Normal University, Director of Chinese Culture Translation and International Promotion Committee, of Chinese Classics Bilinguals' Association, and of Gansu Provincial Translators' Association. She specializes in applied linguistics and studies of translator behavior and of translation of Chinese classics.

Shu Enjiang, a native of Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province, holds a CATTI Level 2 Certificate in English Translation and is a Senior High School English Teacher.
