Flowers: A Song of the Yangtze River
(Chinese New Romance)
A paradise of paradise
Chief of Dajiang,
We have lived for a thousand years,
Like a dragon wanting to jump into the sky.
The snowy mountains are far away,
A green sky flows with a blue stream,
It was a tremendous sight.
Who once captured the shadow of the moon,
Destroy the river and leave a shining legacy.
On the banks of the Liming River,
Qu Gong recited the words of Chu,
The words were harsh.
Shang Xia.
Titles in the morning,
The sun was slanting at the end,
The sun and moon are in the same light.
History flows with the waves,
Success or failure is inevitable,
All I can see is the vicissitudes.
Standing on the tide,
Look beyond the sky and see beyond the horizon.
I lamented myself, and ran down mountains and ravines,
Zerung Oriental.

Comments:
The whole word is bold and high-minded, and it is a modern ode to the Yangtze River with a sense of energy and a sense for literature. Using the Yangtze River as an object, the dragon as a god, the history as a bone, and the poetry as a soul, we combine natural geography, historical humanities and the sentiment of the times. Its rhyme is brilliant, its image is grand, and its usage is natural, and it writes the grandeur of the new era in traditional dictionaries, which can claim to be a depth and patterned praise of the Yangtze River. I will now analyze and appreciate it sentence by sentence.
I. Explanation by sentence
"The great river is long, and it stretches across the ages, like a dragon wanting to leap into the sky."
The opening three sentences draw on the three dimensions of space, time and motion. "Dangjiang" refers directly to the Yangtze River; The word "long" both describes the long length of the river and implies the long duration of time. "Yang Chen for a thousand years" uses "Yang Chen" to write that the Yangtze River is like a huge historical presence that spans ancient times and has a strong sense of stability and heavy weight. "If the dragon wants to jump into the sky," uses the dragon as a metaphor to transform the Yangtze River from static to dynamic, giving its life will and the tendency to leap. This image of a "dragon" is at the heart of the whole story, setting the stage for the next "title is morning, tail is slanting sun."
"The snowy mountains are far away, and the azure sky flows blue and clear."
These three sentences describe the source and meteorology of the Yangtze River. "Snow Plain Mountains" refers to the Tangora Mountains on the Tibetan plateau where the Yangtze River originates, indicating its geographical origin; The word "far" pushes the space farther away, writing out the nobleness of the source. The phrase "blue sky flows and blue water" reflects the blue sky and blue water, and the word "flow" is extremely strong, writing about the movement of the river from high-altitude snow mountains to descend, with a romantic sense of "coming up from the sky." The four words "vast and vast" outline the overall characteristics of the open river and the majestic weather.
"Who once captured the shadow of the moon and blew the skies and left a shining token."
The sentence moves from nature to humanities. "Who once captured the shadow of the moon" used the legend of Li Bai quarry and died catching the moon, making the Yangtze a romantic color of poets. The term "river heaven" translates from the meaning of Su Shi "one bottle still rivers heaven," and the term "river moon" is changed to "river paradise," which has a greater weather. The author asked questions to recall and wrote about the poetic intermingling relationship between Li Bai, Su Shi and the Yangtze River. "Leave a brilliant chapter" refers to the fact that Li Bai, Su Shi and other Mozambican bards left a large number of magnificent poems lamenting the Yangtze River.
"By the waters of Liming, Qu Gong recited the words of Chu, and his words were harsh."
From Li Bai and Su Shi to Qu Yuan. "Mingshui" is the Ling Luo River, which is a water system of the Yangtze River basin. Qu Yuan once traveled on the banks of the Yangtse River and eventually sank there. "Qu Gong recites Chu's Rhetoric" integrates the image of Qu Yuan chanting with the creation of Chu's Retoric; "Strong words" not only describes the sound of Chu's words as strong and strong, but also commemorates Qu Yuan's personality and makes a loud speech. Using the Yangtze River as a clue, the film connects three great poets in Chinese literary history, making the Yangtze not only a river of nature, but also a river for culture and poetry.
"Sang Shang."
The word is divided into a sentence independently and used in combination, which has the meaning of great water, and adheres to the ancient tradition of "living in the water" in the Psalm, and the lower part is full of energy and the syllables are loud.
"The title is morning, and the tail is slanting, and the sun and moon are at the same light."
Adopting the image of the previous section as "like a dragon," the Yangtze River is completely dragon-shaped: the dragon is in the east, lifting the first rising morning light. The dragon's tail is in the west, swinging the west sunset. One "hang" and one "bar" vividly illustrate the time-space span of the Yangtze River, which crosses east and west and crosses the dawn of the morning. "The same light of the sun and moon" is used in Qu Yuan's "Sailing River" "with the heavens and the earth, and the same light of both the sun and the moon," which both echoes the above "Qu Gong" and elevates the Yangtze River to the cosmic realm of the same light as the sun and Moon.
"History flows with the waves, and the successes and failures of right and wrong are lost, only to the vicissitudes."
Moving from spatial description to historical contemplation. This sentence clearly translates the meaning of Yang Xin's "Lienjiang Fairy" in which "The Yangtze River has fallen east, the waves have sought out the heroes" and "Success or failure turns empty." "History is a scroll of waves" compares the waves of the Yangtze River to a scrolled history, and writes that the Yangtze river bears witness to history. "Success and failure of right and wrong" means that successes and failures of successive generations are ultimately exhausted by the great waves. "Just See the Past" is more than just an illusion, but emphasizes the heavy past that the Yangtze River has accumulated as a witness to history.
"Standing at the tide, I can see beyond the horizon."
Back to the subject of lyricist. "Standing at the tide" means that a poet or a lyricist stands at the tide of the river, both in the way that the time strikes the tide and in the way of facing the long history. "Seeing the horizon and seeing the boundless horizon" looks out at the horizon of the river, both to illustrate the vastness of the real situation and to describe the broadness of the ambition and ideal. The sentence shifts from historical contemplation to a realistic outlook, and the mood shifts away from depression to exaltation.
"Singing about ourselves, thousands of mountains and ravines, and a lush emerald bloom in the East."
The conclusion speaks volumes. "Thousands of mountains and thousands of ravines" writes about the tremendous journey of the Yangtze River through mountains and steep terrain, and outlines the wide geographical scope and complex terrain of its flow. "Zeren Eastern" highlights the role of the Yangtze River as the mother river of Chinese civilization, elevating the natural Yangtze River into a national spiritual symbol. The emotions are composed of lamentation and praise, closing the whole story and completing the praise of the Yangtze River.
II. Comprehensive appreciation
1. Theme and Purpose
This word is a celebration of the Yangtze River, but its meaning is not limited to the depiction of the natural landscape, but fuses the natural geography, historical humanities, and national spirit of the Yangtse River into one. In the words, the Yangtze River is not only a huge river flowing from the snow fields, but also the carrier of the poetry of Li Bai, Su Shi, and Qu Yuan, and the mother river of Chinese civilization "tranquifying the East." By praising the Yangtze River, the author expresses his awe of the great power of nature, his fondness for history and culture, and his confidence in the nation's future.
2. Core Image: Dragon
The most prominent image of the word is "dragon." The opening paragraph "Like a dragon wants to jump into the sky" establishes the metaphor, and the next paragraph "The title is morning, the tail is slanted by the sun" further concretizes the image of the dragon, making the Yangtze River a dragon with life, will, and crosses space and time. The dragon is not only a reflection of the natural form of the Yangtze River, but also a symbol of Chinese civilization. This image runs throughout the entire page, giving the words a strong sense of holisticity and symbolism.
3. The dual structure of time and space
The text is structured with distinct temporal and spatial cues.
· Time clues: From "epoch-spanning" to "Huaxia" to "Quot," to "History," to "The Last Days," to "Sun and Moon" to "Infinity," forming the depth of time from ancient to present, from finite to infinite.
· Space clues: From the source of the "snow mountains," to the "vast and vast" rivers, to the "side of the heavens," to the mountains and ravines, to the East, space continues to extend from West to East, from source to sea.
Time and space are intertwined, making the Yangtze River a long river not only in geographical terms, but also in history and civilization.
4. Uses and cultural heritage
The lexicon is dense and natural. Li Bai's legend of catching the moon, Su Shi's spirit of imbibing wine, Qu Yuan's recollections of Chu, Yang Xin's meaning of "The Legend of the Linjiang Fairy," and Qu Yuan''s sentence of "the sun and moon together" all revolve around the Yangtze River, which has both the depth of literary history and the sense of stacking. In particular, the combination of Li Bai, Su Shi and Qu Yuan represents the romantic, open and graceful style of Chinese poetry, making the Yangtze the embodiment of poetic spirit.
5. Language and Vocal Characters
The whole word follows the "Jiangyang" rhyme in the new Chinese rhyme, and the end of the rhyme is a long and resonant rhyme, which is suitable for the greeting style. The use of verbs is particularly excellent, such as "standing up," "wanting to jump," "flow," "hang," "roll," "stand" and "look" are accurate and powerful, making the words filled with movement and vigor. The style of poetry is bold and sophisticated, with the legacy of Suyin.
6. Cultural meaning and contemporary values
The Yangtze River is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. The wordplay ends with "Zeren East," which is not only a reflection of the natural function of the Yangtze River, but also a high overview of the nourishing power of Chinese civilization. In a contemporary context, the term reaffirms the significance of the Yangtze River as a cultural symbol: both a witness to history and a nourisher of the future. It is both a river of nature and an artery of national spirit. The whole word thus completed its sublimation from a celebration of nature to a praise of civilization.
