《太阳是我的妻子》

自黑暗降生的我，久困于孤寒。
而今我拥有太阳，我的妻子。
她心地温良，品性贤惠
时而以一身明媚，铺展世间璀璨
时而心头愠怒，便以热浪炙烤人间。
她把光明递到我的手上
也将希望撒向苍茫尘寰。
世间众生
都领受过她垂落的恩泽，
也承受过她烈火般的淬炼。
偶有心绪翻涌，她便忍不住地呜咽。
待她心绪平复，又会拂开白云做的手绢，
再把往日的温暖，还给人间。
她是神圣的存在。
以隐忍医者的心怀，
抚平世人肉身的疲惫，
也缝合灵魂深处未愈的磨难。
白日，她将我的影子
轻轻撒向泥土与荒原。
那影子是光投下的重负，
贴着大地，记录我全部的悲欢。
纵使人间多有寒凉，
她仍以微笑，面对生活
用手中的七彩画笔，涂画苍茫人间。
待到暮色漫过山脊，
她便收敛光焰，
把落日熔金的晚霞，铺作告别白天的帷幔。
她需要休息，与我一同安眠。
世间万物啊，请为我祝福。
我要向全世界宣告，
已熬过长夜的我，是何其幸福！
我踏遍万水千山
站在地平线上，对她喊出滚烫的爱恋
呵，谁的生活没有痛苦？
谁的生活就一定圆满？
只要有她相伴，
哪怕生活给再多我苦难，
我也会感到这是幸福人间！
The Sun Is My Wife

Born out of darkness,
I was long confined in cold and solitude.
Now I have the sun—
my wife.
She is gentle at heart, gracious by nature.
At times, clothed in radiance,
she unfurls her splendor across the world;
at times, when anger stirs within her,
she scorches the earth with waves of heat.
She places light into my hands
and scatters hope across the boundless mortal world.
Every living being
has received the grace she pours down
and endured the tempering
of her fiery blaze.
Sometimes, when her emotions surge,
she cannot keep from weeping.
When her heart grows calm again,
she brushes aside her handkerchief of white clouds
and returns her familiar warmth
to the world.
She is a sacred presence.
With the patient compassion of a healer,
she soothes the weariness of the body
and stitches closed
the wounds still unhealed
deep within the soul.
By day, she gently casts my shadow
across the earth and wilderness.
That shadow is the burden cast by light,
clinging to the ground,
recording all my joys and sorrows.
However cold this mortal world may be,
she still meets life with a smile,
painting the boundless human world
with the rainbow brush in her hand.
When dusk spills over the mountain ridge,
she gathers in her blaze
and spreads the molten gold of sunset
into a curtain drawn to bid the day farewell.
She, too, needs rest
and sleeps beside me.
O all things beneath heaven,
give me your blessing.
I want to proclaim to the whole world
how blessed I am—
I who have survived the long night!
I have crossed countless rivers
and climbed countless mountains.
Standing on the horizon,
I cry out to her with burning love:
Ah, whose life is free of suffering?
Whose life is ever truly complete?
As long as she is beside me,
no matter how much hardship
life may lay upon me,
I will still know
that this human world is blessed.

［About the Author］Xiuhao Tong (b. 1986; English name: Oliver) is a contemporary Chinese poet of Han ethnicity.
On February 15, 2026, in Quito, Ecuador, he received the “China’s Top Ten Avant-Garde Poets Award,” jointly presented by Fundación Amazonía Productiva and POETAS INTERGALÁCTICOS, and was also granted the special distinction “ULTRABARDISTA.”
The award recognized his poetry on the theme of “Friendship Among Peoples,” created for the 2026 global poetry events organized by POETAS INTERGALÁCTICOS. Working primarily in free verse and diverse lyrical forms, Tong demonstrates remarkable literary creativity and a profound humanistic spirit. His work promotes world peace and cultural exchange and has earned broad recognition from the international jury.
