夕归弯月见清空，独坐青山几片红。

不话悲欢身外事，一明一灭各由衷。

Alone in Green Hills Gazing at the Moon

At dusk the crescent moon hangs clear and bright,

Alone in green hills, few red leaves in sight.

I speak not of joys or griefs the world holds dear—

Each gleam that fades or glows springs from within, sincere.           

Seul dans les montagnes vertes, devant la lune

Au crépuscule, la lune croît, claire et pure,

Seul dans les monts verts, quelques feuilles rouges d'azure.

Je ne dis rien des pleurs ni des joies d'ici—

Chaque éclat qui vit ou meurt vient du cœur, ainsi.

Solo en los montes verdes mirando la luna

Al atardecer, la luna creciente brilla clara y serena,

Solo en los montes verdes, pocas hojas rojas en la escena.

No hablo de penas ni de alegrías que el mundo atesora—

Cada destello que apaga o enciende, del alma sale y mora.
