Nine Micro-Poems of Jiangnan Neo-Sensation School: Clear Autumn
Author: Ji Junqun (Brazil)
1.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
Maple leaves carpet the ground, a faint chill clings to the cup rim
That aged tea
Catches half a slice of moonlight from my memories
2.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
Wild geese have returned, shaking off old tales of bygone years
Yellow chrysanthemums dot the fields
Turning into a stretch of distant hills in the evening breeze
3.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
White dew congeals in the boundless dusk
Moonlight, pure and bright
Mends scattered blossoms strewn across the old courtyard
4.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
A wild goose's shadow sweeps past, the sky recedes into endlessness
As far as eyes can reach
All is the faint chill the surrounding hills have held
5.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
I wrap my robe tight, yet a few threads of cold still seep through
A single lonely cry —
And distant hills wake from the depth of dusk
6.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
The wind cannot rattle the spinning wheel, yet red maple leaves
Light up —
Deep in my eyes, it is still mother's face from those years
7.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
Let dead branches sway in the cold wind, moonlight taps gently
On the half-latched wooden gate
Who cuts the shadows to mend the wanderer's clothes
8.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
Reed catkins turn white, the west wind scatters faint ripples at my fingertips
That soft call
Chokes into a river flowing far away tonight
9.Clear Autumn
Ji Junqun / Brazil
Cicadas chirp sharply, yet they can never saw off the last remaining leaves
Osmanthus scent spreads far and wide
Unwraps the amber tucked in the old letter paper
