期待，

轻轻揉碎了滚烫的心。

多少次，

幽茫的梦魇之中骤然惊醒。

从春烟漫染，到夏木葱茏，

从秋霜凝叶，到冬雪凌空。

从丝丝濛濛的毛毛细雨，

到漫天摇荡的碎玉飞琼。

等待，

是一场没有归期的远行，何其漫长。

于是体味乐与悲，

历经分与合。

于起落浮沉之间，更深切地咀嚼百味人生。

那无尽遥遥的期盼，

世间最磨人的鞭影。

灵魂幽微的创口之上，

镌刻下血痕，也回荡着泪落的颤音。

这一颗辗转浮沉的心，

时至今日，竟少有人能够读懂。

那条汩汩奔涌的爱之长河，

烟波浩渺，却不见一叶扁舟起航航行。

唯有孤鸟一只，

静立寒枝，闲看遍地落英缤纷。

缄默着，独自吞咽尘寰万千隐隐的哀鸣。

Expectation,

Has gently crumpled a burning heart.

How many a time,

I wake abruptly from obscure and hazy nightmares.

From spring mist spreading far and wide,

to summer trees in lush verdancy;

From autumn frost gilding the leaves,

to winter snow surging through the sky.

From fine, wispy drizzling threads of rain,

to sky‑filling flurries of jade‑like snow in flight.

To wait —

Is an endless journey with no promised return,

immeasurably long.

Thus do I taste joy and sorrow,

and endure parting and reunion.

Amid rises and falls of fortune,

I savour, more profoundly, life’s myriad flavours.

That endless, far‑reaching yearning,

is the world’s most tormenting lash‑shadow.

Upon the faint, hidden wounds of the soul,

blood‑marks are carved, and the tremor of falling tears resounds.

This heart, tossed and turned amid vicissitudes,

even to this day, is scarcely understood by any soul.

That surging, endless river of love,

stretches into misty immensity —

yet not a single skiff sets sail upon its waters.

Only one solitary bird,

stands quiet on a cold bough,

gazing in stillness at the riot of fallen blossoms.

Silent, it swallows alone the faint, muffled lamentations of this mortal world.
