Preface
Exemplary Figures of Global Cultural Exchange!
Civilizations become colorful through exchanges, and cultures enrich themselves through mutual learning. Amid the tide of an era where different countries engage in dialogue and coexistence and diverse civilizations integrate and resonate, countless forerunners deeply engaged in the literary and artistic fields take culture as the bond and art as the bridge. Surmounting the barriers of mountains and seas, they break down geographical and linguistic barriers to convey the unique humanistic charm of the East to the world.
This authoritative online special report entitled Exemplary Figures of Global Cultural Exchange is launched to recommend representative figures who have practiced diligently and made remarkable contributions in the fields of international cultural communication and Sino‑foreign artistic interaction. Rooted in local cultural veins and imbued with cultural confidence, they step onto the international stage with artistic achievements featuring distinctive Eastern heritage. Through rounds of dialogue and sharing, they tell Chinese stories, spread the voice of Huaxia, and build bridges for mutual appreciation and spiritual connection between civilizations.
This special feature records the perseverance and achievements of the strivers of the times, paying tribute to every practitioner who is committed to international cultural communication. Harnessing the power of role models to guide a new cultural trend, we enable the fine Chinese culture to radiate enduring brilliance across the global map, and promote the shared prosperity and everlasting inheritance of humanity’s diverse civilizations.
