满江红•江布拉克大峡谷

向希佩

长壑幽深，

正七月、溟濛细雨。

登临处、雾绡百叠，

翠涛千缕。

怪道滑车疑梦魇，

断崖裂石悬危础。

更何人、伫立望层云，

苍鹰举。

天山雪，消寒暑。

丝路迹，埋尘土。

算当年铁骑，

总成虚负。

我欲倚天抽宝剑，

劈开混沌寻今古。

待归来、霁色映空明，

千峰肃。

Deep the long canyon lies;

In July fine rain falls from the gray skies.

Where I climb, mist is like layers of gauze;

Green waves surge without pause.

Strange Slope, where I slide, seems a nightmare place;

On cliffs, rocks seem to hang on a dire base.

Who else stands gazing into tiered clouds in the sky?

An eagle soars high.

Tianshan snow melts as heat comes, cold goes;

Silk Road’s traces lie buried; dust blows.

Steel riders charged time and again,

Yet all ended in vain.

I would draw my sword, leaning on the sky,

Cleave chaos, seek the old and new on high.

When I come back, the clear skies after rain shine bright—

Peaks in solemn height.

Jiangbulak Grand Canyon

— To the Tune of "Manjianghong" (The River All Red)

The canyon is long, deep and dim— 

in July, misty rain falls thin.

Where I ascend: misty gauze a hundred folds,

green billows a thousand threads.

Slide-carts on steep tracks feel a nightmare's spell — 

sheer cliffs, split rocks, a base suspended in peril.

Who else stands there, gazing at tiered clouds overhead, 

where a goshawk soars?

Tianshan's snows melt — cold and heat give way.

Silk Road tracks lie buried in dust and clay.

Count those crack horsemen of old — 

all in vain.

I would draw my sword against the sky, 

cleave the primal chaos, probe past and present.

When I return, the clearing sky shine clear — 

a thousand peaks stand solemn and still.

向希佩，湖北长阳人，曾就读清华大学EMBA，从业印制电路。中华诗词学会演艺界工委《演艺诗词》副主编等，作品发表于《中华诗词》《中华辞赋》等百种报刊。

XIANG Xipei, a native of Changyang, Hubei, studied in the EMBA program at Tsinghua University and works in the printed circuit industry. He is a Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Performance Poetry (a journal under the Performing Arts Working Committee of the Chinese Poetry Society), and holds other positions.
