刘明，甘肃省陇西人，毕业于青海师范大学政教系，高级政工师。酷爱书法，坚持历练。2007年来，作品多次参加全国书画大赛，获金奖21项，一等奖7项，银奖8项，6800多幅作品在《盛世中华.全国书画名家大辞典》、《中国当代书画家墨迹典藏》、《华人精英人才大典》、《当代杰出书画艺术家新作博览》等书刊中入编发表。在“纪念中国改革开放30年全国中老年书画展”、“上海世博国际交流展”、“中国首届庐山杯文学艺术展”中，作品分别在全国政协礼堂、人民大会堂、上海图书馆和南昌艺术馆展出。两万多幅作品被有关单位和书画爱好者收藏，当代中国实力派润格一级书法师。先后授予当代杰出书画艺术家、当代中华老人德艺双馨艺术家、中国当代百名爱国书画家、当代百名中老年实力派书画家、共和国杰出书画家，“2009”中国书画名家、庆祝建国60周年60位最具影响力艺术家等称号。
2013年举办个人书画展，同时出版发行《刘明书法作品集》，2019年出版庆祝建国七十周年《伟大的历程.中华复兴.中华文化复兴践行者》；.2020年出版《文化复兴.砥砺前行-中华文化复兴践行者走进迪拜》；2021年出版庆祝中国共产党成立100周年《百年辉煌百位名家》素有“国家名片” 之美誉的邮票、邮品、邮册。2013年出版《盛世中华.复兴有您.限量版纪念珍藏邮折。

Liu Ming, a native of Longxi, Gansu, graduated from the Department of Political Education, Qinghai Normal University. He holds the professional title of Senior Political Work Specialist and is an avid calligrapher with decades of dedicated practice.
Since 2007, his works have featured in numerous national calligraphy and painting contests, earning him 21 gold, 7 first‑place and 8 silver awards. Over 6,800 pieces have been published and anthologized in authoritative art books, including A Dictionary of National Renowned Calligraphers and Painters in Prosperous China, Collection of Works by Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters, Encyclopedia of Overseas Chinese Elites, and Exhibition of New Works by Outstanding Contemporary Artists. His art has been exhibited at the Great Hall of the People, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Auditorium, Shanghai Library and Nanchang Art Museum for landmark events such as the National Exhibition for Middle‑aged and Elderly Artists Marking the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening‑up, the Exhibition Commemorating the 110th Birth Anniversary of Liu Shaoqi, the Shanghai World Expo International Art Exchange Show, and the First Lushan Cup Literature & Art Exhibition. More than 20,000 works have been collected by institutions and private enthusiasts. He is certified as a First‑Grade Calligrapher of Contemporary China with established pricing credentials.
He has received many honours: Outstanding Contemporary Calligrapher‑Painter, Virtuous Senior Chinese Artist, One Hundred Patriotic Contemporary Chinese Artists, One Hundred Influential Mid‑Aged & Senior Artists, Distinguished Artist of the Republic, Renowned Chinese Calligrapher‑Painter (2009), and one of the 60 Most Influential Artists for the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.
He held a solo calligraphy and painting exhibition in 2013, alongside the release of Collection of Liu Ming’s Calligraphy. Later publications include The Great Journey · Rejuvenation of China: Practitioners of Chinese Cultural Revival (2019, for the 70th National Anniversary), Cultural Revival, Forging Ahead: Practitioners of Chinese Cultural Revival in Dubai (2020), and A Hundred Glorious Years, A Hundred Masters (2021, a stamp and philatelic collection for the centenary of the Communist Party of China, known as “China’s Business Card”). A limited commemorative stamp folder, Prosperous China, Rejuvenation with You, was also issued in 2013.
