冰堤玉岸裹银川。
一泓云影蓝融碧，
万壑松锋雪带寒。
明月缺，夕阳残。
牧归隘口起苍烟。

Through passes and hills my horse wouldn’t go;
Ice dams and jade shores wrap the lake aglow.
A pool of cloud shadows blends blue and green;
Vales and dales see pines in snow like swords keen.
Waning moon and dying sun close the day.
Herdsmen return, at the pass smoke curls gray.
In verse and painting I sought fairyland;
Can’t this scene inspire an old verse so grand?

I seek the frontier pass, yet my horse won't advance;
Jade banks of ice enfold the silver expanse.
Cloud shadows pool where blue and emerald blend;
Through countless gorges, snow-crowned pines ascend.
The moon wanes thin, the sun sinks low;
Through th' narrow pass, grey mists with herdsmen go.
In verse and painting I sought a fairy shore,
Can that scene stir a nostalgic strain once more?

刘军，现为中华诗词学会会员、新疆诗词学会副会长，伊犁州诗词学会党建指导员。多次在《中华诗词》《诗刊》等刊物发表作品。2009年发表《沧浪集》。

LYU Wenpeng, a native of Tianshui, Gansu Province; Associate Professor of English and MA Supervisor at Northwest Normal University, Director of Chinese Culture Translation and International Promotion Committee, of Chinese Classics Bilinguals' Association, and of Gansu Provincial Translators' Association. She specializes in applied linguistics and studies of translator behavior and of translation of Chinese classics.

Shu Enjiang, a native of Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province, holds a CATTI Level 2 Certificate in English Translation and is a Senior High School English Teacher.
