8月3日，岐山县科协召开机关会议，传达学习习近平总书记在国家科学技术奖励大会、两院院士大会、中国科协第十一次全国代表大会上的重要讲话精神，贯通落实市科协八届五次全委会精神，部署安排岐山县贯彻落实措施。

On August 3, the Qishan County Association of Science and Technology held an internal meeting. Participants studied and discussed the important speeches delivered by Xi Jinping at the National Science and Technology Award Conference, the General Assembly of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the 11th National Congress of the China Association of Science and Technology. The meeting also sought to fully implement the guiding spirit of the 5th Plenary Session of the 8th Committee of Baoji Municipal Association of Science and Technology, and formulated implementation plans for Qishan County.

会议指出，习近平总书记在“科技三会”上的重要讲话立足“十五五”开局关键节点，全面总结我国科技创新领域突破性重大成果，深刻研判当前国内外科技竞争新形势新挑战，系统擘画“十五五”阶段科技创新、科技人才、科学普及工作总蓝图，为我国推进高水平科技自立自强、建设社会主义科技强国指明前进方向，更为基层科协履职尽责提供根本遵循。全县科协系统要把学习贯彻习近平总书记在大会上的重要讲话精神作为当前和今后一段时期的首要政治任务，牢牢锚定科协“四服务”职责定位，找准服务中心大局切入点，以扎实举措、过硬实绩推动全县科协工作提质增效。

The meeting noted that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches at the Three Science and Technology Conferences were delivered at a critical moment at the outset of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The speeches comprehensively summed up landmark breakthroughs in China’s scientific and technological innovation, thoroughly analyzed new situations and challenges arising from global technological competition, and systematically outlined the overall blueprint for scientific and technological innovation, talent cultivation and science popularization during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. The speeches point out the direction for China to achieve high-level self-reliance in science and technology and build a powerful country in science and technology, and offer fundamental guidelines for county-level associations of science and technology to perform their duties. The county-wide Association of Science and Technology system must take studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches as its primary political task at present and in the period ahead. It will firmly uphold the Four Services mandate of the Association of Science and Technology, identify key areas to serve the overall work of the county, and promote high-quality development of county-level science and technology work with solid measures and tangible outcomes.
