On September 4, Li Tong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qishan County Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, inspected the autumn reopening and education work at Pucun Nine‑Year Consistent School. He stressed that it is imperative to thoroughly study and implement the important instructions issued by Xi Jinping‑General Secretary on basic education and work safety. We must firmly uphold the philosophy of “Safety First, Life Supreme”, and, driven by a strong sense of responsibility that “one can never afford to let one’s guard down”, coordinate campus safety and teaching‑related work in an all‑round manner.

Li Tong visited key premises including the school’s teaching buildings and canteen. Through on‑site inspections and on‑the‑spot exchanges, he gained detailed insights into autumn‑semester reopening, primary‑level Party‑building work, campus safety hazard screening, as well as the full‑chain management of school meals covering ingredient procurement and food processing.

Li Tong emphasized that efforts should be made to strengthen Party‑building leadership. School Party organizations should give full play to their role in setting the direction, managing overall situations and ensuring policy implementation, so as to advance in‑depth integration and mutual reinforcement between Party‑building work, teaching activities and logistical support. Focus must be placed on key links such as comprehensive governance of campus surrounding areas, internal hazard identification and school‑meal administration. Sound long‑term mechanisms shall be established to resolutely hold the bottom line of campus safety and food safety. All parties should fully assume their responsibilities, refine work measures and strengthen routine supervision and inspection to guarantee smooth progress for all autumn‑reopening initiatives. High‑quality Party‑building shall steer the high‑quality development of rural education.
