9月16日，岐山县科技馆开馆暨2026年岐山县全国科普月集中宣传活动成功举办。宝鸡市科协党组书记王若鹏宣布岐山县全国科普月集中宣传活动启动，与会领导共同为岐山县科技馆开馆启幕。岐山县县长马建刚出席活动并致辞，县人大常委会主任王辉、县政协主席刘玉广、县政府分管领导李佐东参加活动，活动由县委常委、益店镇党委书记赵炳震主持。

马建刚指出，岐山县科技馆作为2026年县级十大民生项目，填补了岐山县高端科普公共服务设施的空白，对完善城市功能、提升全民科学素质、科技服务民生、科普惠及民众具有重要意义。全县各部门、各单位和各级科协组织，要以科技馆开馆和全国科普月活动为契机，创新构建“主场启动+全域联动+特色专场”的立体化科普体系，全方位、多层次、常态化开展科普惠民服务，主动融入和服务岐山县科普事业发展大局，为促进岐山县经济社会高质量发展注入强劲动能。

活动现场，岐山县全民科学素质31个县级责任单位及9个县级学（协）会，围绕“科技改变生活，创新赢得未来”主题，聚焦五大重点人群，以悬挂横幅、设置展板、发放宣传手册、现场接受群众咨询、器材展示讲解、专家义诊等多种形式，向过往群众开展安全生产、食品安全、卫生健康、防震减灾、生态保护等科普知识宣传和科技志愿服务活动。

岐山各镇党委书记，县委和县级国家机关各部门、县直属各单位、各人民团体、各双管单位主要负责同志，全县部分学校校长、各镇教育专干，科普志愿者共计200余人参加活动。

On September 16, the opening ceremony of the Qishan County Science and Technology Museum and the centralized publicity campaign for the 2026 National Science Popularization Month in Qishan County were successfully held. Wang Ruopeng, Party Secretary of the Baoji Association for Science and Technology, announced the launch of the county’s centralized events for National Science Popularization Month. Leading officials present jointly unveiled the Qishan County Science and Technology Museum. Ma Jiangang, Magistrate of Qishan County, attended the event and delivered an address. Wang Hui, Director of the Standing Committee of the Qishan County People’s Congress, Liu Yuguang, Chairman of the Qishan County Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Li Zuodong, County Government Leading Official in Charge of Relevant Work, took part in the activity. Zhao Bingzhen, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qishan County Committee and Party Secretary of Yidian Town, presided over the ceremony.

Ma Jiangang pointed out that as one of the county’s ten key livelihood projects of 2026, the Qishan County Science and Technology Museum fills the gap in high-end public science popularization facilities in Qishan County. It carries great significance for improving urban functions, elevating public scientific literacy, enabling science and technology to serve people’s livelihoods, and extending the benefits of science popularization to the general public. All county-level departments, institutions and associations for science and technology at all levels shall seize the opportunity brought by the museum’s opening and National Science Popularization Month to innovate and build a three-dimensional science popularization system featuring “main venue launch + cross-region coordination + themed special sessions”. They shall deliver inclusive science popularization services in an all-round, multi-layered and regular manner, proactively integrate into and serve the overall advancement of science popularization in Qishan County, and inject strong impetus into the high-quality economic and social development of the county.

At the event venue, 31 county-level competent authorities for the national scientific literacy initiative and 9 county-level academic societies and associations in Qishan County centred on the theme Science Transforms Lives, Innovation Secures the Future. Targeting five key groups of people, they carried out science popularization and volunteer sci-tech services for passers-by through multiple forms including hanging banners, displaying boards, distributing brochures, providing on-site consultation, demonstrating and explaining equipment, and expert free clinics. The covered topics included work safety, food safety, public health, earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, and ecological conservation.

The event drew over 200 participants, including Party secretaries of all towns, principal leading cadres of CPC Qishan County organs, county-level state organs, county-level public institutions, people’s organizations and vertically-managed units, principals of selected county schools, education specialists from each town, and science popularization volunteers.
